The Major Benefits of IKUKO
Improves Posture
The open sitting angle between thigh and torso and the kneeling position allow the back to automatically straighten up so the spine balances properly over the pelvis, rediscovering its natural curve decreasing damaging compressive loads on the low back.A free torso having to balance itself engages, trains and strengthens core muscles and reduces tendencies to slouch.
Increases Oxygen Levels and Ability to Focus
This sitting, position similar to walking upright, frees the lungs and upper organs and allows for deeper breathing. The open chest makes breathing easy, improving oxygen levels for a better circulation of your energy and a general feeling of well-being.Increased oxygen supply and intuitive comfort subconsciously result in improved concentration and ability to focus.
Increased Circulation
Because the body’s weight is evenly distributed, circulation in the legs are improved and heaviness and swelling from stale sitting is avoided.Minimal to no pressure on knees and leg joints allowing them to relax without going numb.
Reduce Body Pains Head to Toe
Neck – Natural neck alignment helps reduce neck strain and prevent muscle tension in the shoulders. Thoracic Spine – Proper spinal curvature is achieved naturally.Low Back – Opens the angle between upper & lower body which reduces compression on the low back.Legs – The bench takes the pressure of body weight and allows your legs and knees to relax.

Can I use the IKUKO bench in crossed legs position?
Our bench is made for seating in kneeling position, do not seat cross-legged or it may result on braking a leg or its attachment.
How do I use the bench?
Make sure to use the bench on a flat surface and seat both legs on the floor. Do not create a cantilever putting all your weight on one leg, falling on one side or put to much pressure on one leg can result on braking the leg or it’s wood attachment.
Are the sizes accurates on your chart?
Keep in mind that bodies, measurements and flexibility are different from one person to another. These sizes are references for the majority of users. Consider exchanging if you find the bench you ordered is to low or too high.
Can I use a cushion on top of the seat?
Our bench is designed to not use a cushion on the seat. But you can add a cushion under your self to remove any pressure points on knees and ankles.
What is the maximum weight?
250lbs
